SHOT GLASS MOLDS
This silicone shot glass mold is perfect for making ice glass. Simply fill the ice shot glass mold with water or your favorite juice. Freeze it. Then pop out four fully-formed frozen shot glasses. You can fill any drink with the premade shot glasses to enjoy a cool drink.
Will create 4 shot glasses, that will hold about 1oz of whisky.
To reduce plastic smell, keep the ice tray in warm (35-50 degrees) water for 15 minutes before the first use. The plastic smell will go away slowly.
USE YOUR ICE TRAY RIGHT, AND MAKE THE BEST OUT OF IT.
Fill the Tray with water.
The best water will be pure distilled water, + boil it twice before use.
If you don’t have the time boil it once. (In a real rush, at least use distilled)
Do not fill the tray all the way to the top. (fill about 90% of the tray).
Set your ice tray on a level surface in the freezer.
Allow the tray to sit undisturbed for at least three to five hours, or until completely frozen. The time needed will depend on how cold your freezer is, and where you place the tray within it.
Remove the ice cubes out of the tray.
If any of the ice cubes stick to the tray, run cold or lukewarm water (not hot) over the bottom of the tray and the ice should release.

TWO TIPS ON HOW TO MAKE CLEAR AND DETAILED ICE CUBES
Regular ice comes out opaque when gasses dissolved in the water get trapped and forced into tiny bubbles, or when ice freezes in a way that doesn’t allow large crystals to form.
Because of these impurities, cloudy ice is weaker and melts faster than clear, pure ice.
Here are 2 tips on how to create clear ice cubes:
Use pure water. Distilled water. Filtered bottled water Etc.
Boil the water twice. (Boiling removes air bubbles from the liquid, allowing the water molecules to stick together even harder in the freezer).
After boiling the first time, allow the water to cool. Then boil again.Keep the cooling water covered to prevent any dust from collecting on the surface.Let the water cool a bit before pouring it in the tray.
Pour water into the ice cube tray and cover the tray with a plastic wrap, to keep out particles.
Set your freezer to just below freezing, around 30°F or -1°C. This should be the warmest setting on your freezer. (Not recommended when you have other stuff in the freezer).
Place ice tray on the top shelf.
Leave it to freeze for 24 hours. The slow freeze should force out any gasses and impurities, leaving you with perfectly clear ice cubes.
While it is recommended to follow both tips. Each of the 2 tips can work for itself.
So if you are in a rush making the ice cubes, follow only the second tip. (Still use Distilled water).
And if you need the ice cubes done faster, follow only the first tip, and freeze at a lower temperature.
